Our local hospital is Parrish Medical Center, located at 951 N. Washington Ave., Titusville, Florida, is a 210-bed, not-for-profit public acute care medical center serving North Brevard County for more than 50 years. The current facility opened in 2002 and replaced the old hospital building. The PMC family of services also includes Parrish Home Health, Parrish Healthcare Center at Port St. John (an outpatient facility with physician’s offices, diagnostic imaging, physical rehab, laboratory, and Medfast Urgent Care Center), the Human Motion Institute® (bone, muscle, joint & spine care), Parrish Physical Rehabilitation, Parrish Senior Consultation Center, Parrish Senior Solutions, Parrish Obstetrics, The Children’s Center, Parrish Diabetes Education (self-management program), and Parrish Health & Fitness Center.

Parrish Medical Center has been awarded nine disease specific certification gold seals from the Joint Commission in acute coronary syndrome, breast cancer, diabetes education, heart failure, hip replacement, knee replacement, palliative care, stroke and wound healing. It is one of only three hospitals in Florida and one of seven in the country to hold nine or more such certifications.
