Titusville has a wide range of activities that people may participate in. We are surrounded by both fresh and saltwater. To the west of Titusville is the St. Johns River and to the east is the Indian River Lagoon. Just west of the Indian River is a pristine undeveloped beach known both as Cape Canaveral and Playalinda Beach. Some of the long time residents even refer to it as Titusville Beach. Chain of Lakes
Snowy Egret Drive, Titusville
From: I-95, take SR-46 Exit 223 toward Mims, and go east on W. Main Street (FL-46) 1.5 miles. Turn RIGHT onto US Hwy 1, go 1.5 miles then left on Jay Jay Road. The entrance to Snowy Egret Drive is on the right. From: US Hwy 1, turn east onto E. Jay Jay Rd (.3 miles north of Dairy Rd or .5 miles south of Parrish Rd). The entrance to Snowy Egret Drive is on the right.
Located near Brevard Community College and the Indian River, this 92.14 acre regional park features wetlands and lakes with walking bridges connected to 3-miles of paved walking trails. Facilities include a birdwatching tower, 8 lighted soccer fields and concession, 3 lighted youth softball fields and concession, 4 lighted adult softball fields and concession, restrooms and parking. Other Referendum Project elements are under development.
Sand Point Park
10 East Max Brewer Causeway, Titusville
This popular 29.88-acre community river park on the Indian River, located at the juncture of U.S. 1 and the Max Brewer Causeway, is home to the Titusville Little League. The Astronaut Memorial is located near the south entrance to the park. A blacktop walkway with a stationed .66-mile exercise trail meanders through the open and shaded areas of the park. Facilities include picnic tables, 11 small to mid-sized pavilions, barbeque grills, playground, and restrooms. Seating up to 250, a large pavilion with kitchen is located near the shoreline where fishing is a common activity for visitors, osprey and pelicans. Black Point Wildlife Drive and Canaveral National Seashore
Highlight all that nature has to offer in Titusville. Pristine beaches on Canaveral National Seashore go for miles and you can load up the family for an day at Black Point Wildlife Drive where you can view and learn about Florida’s native wildlife.
